Moonday’s Heroic Hunks in History: Techie Twins

This Monday’s Heroic Hunks in History features techie twins to celebrate the end of my Inventions and Discoveries month at ritabay.com. It started with fire and ended with computers and the human genome project. The Winklevoss twins, Cameron and Tyler, co-founded Harvard Connection (later called Connect U) while at Harvard University. In 2004, the Winklevoss brothers sued Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for $140 million, claiming he stole their ConnectU idea to create Facebook. The two have competed in men’s pair rowing event for years and made the 2008 US Olympic Team in Beijing. Next Week, Back to History   Rita Bay

  1. Well, crud! The week got away from me and I never even posted my thank-you’s to my favorite blog people for their interesting posts and informative tidbits! Sorry, Rita!

I’ve only read the basic bones of the lawsuit. Believe it was a small article tucked away in a magazine somewhere. But it piqued my interest. I’ll be by your personal blog later to check things out!

    Love the info, woman!

    •  Thanks, Runere. The guys have a lot of history. Accused of being whiners and such.
